Sweater Weather Book Tag | Bookending Autumn 2019

Hi Dreamers!

It’s the first official Bookending Autumn post!

Bookend events were created by Sam @ FictionallySam and Clo @ BookDragons. (Two great bloggers and you should check them out!) They host these quarterly events to bring our book blogging community a little closer. They have hosts and prompts and even Twitter chats! (See full explanation post here.)

Today’s prompt is by the lovely Danielle @ PoetryBooksYA! It’s all about books that make you feel warm on cold Autumn days.

Prompt:

Tuesday, October 1 // Sweater Weather – It’s officially sweater weather, so break them out! Name some books that make you feel warm and cozy, like a nice sweater in the fall.

My Picks:

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe– This book came to mind almost immediately with this prompt. It reminds me of being a kid and makes me nostalgic and warm.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower- This book is my favorite book of all time. It never ceases to make me feel warm and fuzzy and I love every minute of it. Perfect for a cup of tea and a day inside reading.

An Abundance of Katherines- This book! I haven’t read it in forever, but it might be time for a reread. So so cute and so nostalgic for high school.

My cozy sweater weather picks were pretty nostalgic. What are some of your cozy comfort books?

Love your picks! Perks of Being a Wallflower is excellent and Narnia is always a good one if you want some good fantasy.

Nostalgic picks are always a solid choice! I just recently read The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe to my daughter as a bed time story so I was thrilled to see it on your list. Side note, those little squirrel dividers are adorable!

Thank you so much! I’ve seen dividers on other people’s blogs and wanted my own! I made them in Canva.

I definitely agree with any of the HP books, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower! One of my absolute favorites.
