I’ve been MIA, I know. A lot has been happening both good and bad and I’m just clinging on the roller coaster of life. I guess the biggest thing that’s happened is that I got engaged! If you follow my social media all the pictures went there and we are so happy! Bad thing? Well, I’m seriously looking for a new job. So if you or anyone you know needs a killer content creator, I’m here!
October is a big month for me. I have a lot of blog things coming and I am praying that life just stays still long enough to get me through it! Some things to look out for:
- Bookending Spring
- YouTube Channel
Preptober was created by the online writing community. It’s in preparation for NaNoWriMo and this is the year I’m really working myself to get this second draft of Fangs and Claws written this year so I can start with critique partners. I will be trying to do weekly updates for both October and November to keep me accountable. Weather life allows this we shall see.
Blogoween and Bookending Autumn
Blogoween is pretty much the 31 days of Halloween for blogs. We bloggers attempt to write a blog post for all 31 days of October. Now the theme of this post is becoming “if life cooperates” which applies for this wholeheartedly. At the time of writing this my life is pretty unstable, but I think these are just the kind of challenges I need right now. A lot of the prompts I’m going to be doing come from BookEnding Autumn 2019. Book Ending events are put on by two very talented bloggers I know and they are seasonal.
I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS! I’m launching a Youtube Channel! I will be doing storytimes, vlogs, book things, and more. Pretty much like this blog, it’s just a representation of my personality, but now it’s in video form! I’m debating doing some Preptober stuff, or maybe my weekly updates in video form this month as a soft launch. Let me know what you’d like to see in the comments!
I didn’t do a lot this month so here’s a tiny wrap-up:

Also, Josie’s first video here on Simple Homemade Hummus! (My first stab at video editing)
My Favorite Things
I’m also in love with the Chrisp Fall Morning Candle from Bath and Body Works.
Finally, I love the funky gourds we got at the farmer’s market for our fall display.
What are your favorite things for September?
