Last week I did a post all about unusual advent calendars, but the whole trend really kicked off a few years ago with nerdy advent calendars with favorite characters from Star Wars to just nerdy themed items. I already mentioned a few in my last post, but I thought I’d take a deeper dive into more specific ones for that favorite nerd in your life (or you!) \

Marvel Avengers Coin Calendar 

This calendar has the double nerdy-ness of being both Marvel and coin collecting! It features a collectible coin a day for all your favorite Marvel Avengers that come in little protective plastic cases at you can either leave in the box display or take out and display your own way! This one is a 24-day calendar. 

Star Wars Lego Calendar

I know I already talked about Lego advent calendars, but this one is Star Wars and therefore it’s the nerdy version! Every day, for 24 days, you get to build Lego versions of your favorite Star Wars characters and put them on the little play stand! It’s better than the generic Lego city one because this one has droids! 

Disney’s Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar

I don’t know if Disney counts as nerdy or not, but there’s a Marvel version of this calendar if you want the comic book one. I love Tsum Tsums! So much that my friend Jasmine made the cupcakes for my graduation party to look like Disney’s Tsum Tsums (my love of Tsum Tsums is probably directly correlated to my love of Disney, but whatever.) So this calendar is definately something that aligns with my own nerdy tendancies, so I’m counting it! 

Doctor Who 12 Days of Doctors

This last one isn’t really a calendar… it’s a book. BUT this is a book blog and this book is Doctor Who (so nerdy) and can be used as an advent calendar. Let me explain. This book includes twelve stories from each of the first 12 doctors from Doctor Who. So, on the days leading up to Christmas, you can read a story a day! Boom now it’s an advent calendar, you’re welcome.
