End of The Year Book Tag!

Hi dreamers!

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! When you’re reading this I will be out of the country without WiFi until 2019! I can’t wait to tell you about all of my adventures when I get back!

Today I’m doing the End of Year Book Tag which I found on Jenn’s blog Jenniely. (It was originally on Drizzle and Hurricane’s Books.)

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

I do! I’m still reading Lover Eternal and I just got a new book at the airport called Hiddensee. (I also still haven’t finished On Writing by Steven King, but that’s a different kind of book and I read them differently.)

Do you have an autumnal book to transition to the end of the year?

I like Jenn have no idea what this means! haha I guess not? I don’t normally read by season.

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

To be completely honest with everything I had going on this year I didn’t keep up on book releases as well as I should have. So, no not really because I don’t know what’s releasing in the next few days.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I’d like to finish Eternal Lover and Hiddensee by the end of this trip! Other than that I think anything else would be unrealistic.

Is there a book you think that could still shock you and become your favorite?

I don’t think so to be honest. I really like the Black Dagger Brotherhood books and Hiddensee is the same surreal writing I’ve come to expect from Gregory McGuire so I don’t think anything is going to shock me. What did shock me was actually enjoying the Blue Bloods series over the summer (if you didn’t read my roller coaster ride with that the posts are here and here.)

Have you already made reading plans for 2019?

So, one of my favorite series is the Kingdom Keepers by Ridley Person and there’s a rumor that it might be coming out with a new installment next summer and I’m so excited! Other than that I have quite a bit in my TBR pile to get through so look for those reviews!

What does your end of 2018 reading look like? Let me know in the comments!

meanwhile here I am holding out hope that I’ll get through 5 more books before the end of 2018, even though I’m blog hopping instead of reading ? looking forward to hearing about your travels!
