Down the TBR Rabbit Hole | #1

Hi Dreamers!
Today I’m doing my first Down the TBR Rabbit Hole post! I think this might be more helpful and entertaining than my previous TBR posts. I’ll still be doing those, too and switching it out with these ones mid-month. So it will be a surprise which one I come out with every month!
Down The TBR Hole is a meme created by Lost in a Story that revolves around cleansing your TBR of all those books you’re never going to read and sort through it all to know what’s actually on there.
This should be helpful because my Goodreads needs some major TLC! (And I’m even getting some work done on Bookending Spring Tidyathon goals!)
It works like this:
- Go to your goodreads to-read shelf.
- Order on ascending date added.
- Take the first 5 (or 10 (or even more!) if you’re feeling adventurous) books. Of course, if you do this weekly, you start where you left off the last time.
- Read the synopses of the books
- Decide: keep it or should it go?
Here we go!

I saved this book back in 2015 and it’s a prime example of why I need to do these. I don’t think I have the first one saved at all, but it looks really good and exactly up

This one I honestly don’t remember saving and I don’t know why I would. It seems interesting, but it’s not my normal reading cup of tea. Maybe someday, but for now it’s being taken off the list.

This book is firmly situated in my TBR and has been for a while. I already own it and it’s just a matter of getting to it. It stays.

This one I saved way back when I was still reading middle grad/ early young adult books. I’m afraid I might be to old for this one now, but I do like any book with a good mythology story in it. This one is going to the maybe someday pile.

This one is another one I bought and just haven’t gotten to. It stays.
