I was poking around in the bookblogger spaces trying to figure out posts to do for blogmas and I came across this post by Jenn on Jenniely and I HAD to do it!

In this cute idea we, as book bloggers, test ourselves to see if we’ll be on Santa’s naughty list for certain ‘naughty’ bookworm behaviors. I recommend this to all book bloggers because it’s so much fun!

Here we go!

• Received an ARC and not reviewed it ✔️

Okay, so here’s the thing. I received a special ARC request by email a few months ago, actually. But the book was so bad I couldn’t get through the first 20 pages. This was my only DNF this year (and I might still do a post on it so let me know if you want to see that.)

• Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley ✔️

So, I just discovered NetGalley this year… I’m working on figuring out how many ARCs I can handle at a time…

• Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did) ✔️

I did this with Toil and Trouble which was supposed to go up right before I took my blog break. I feel really bad, because I really liked the book and I’m still probably going to do a full review on it!

• Folded down the page of a book ✔️

• Accidentally spilled on a book

I have not done this! I get really nervous with any liquids when I’m reading to be honest.

• DNF a book this year ✔️

See my first answer. Only DNF this year.

• Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it

I’ve never done this and don’t understand people who do…

• Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework) ✔️

I read all the time while I’m supposed to be doing other things because I’m ALWAYS supposed to be doing other things…

• Skim read a book

I don’t normally do this. If I get to the point where I’m skim reading I usually just chalk it up to a DNF.

• Completely missed your Goodreads goal ✔️

I think this is mostly because I forget to add physical books to my Goodreads.

• Borrowed a book and not returned it

I’ve never done this I don’t think.

• Broke a book buying ban

My book buying ban is being unemployed ?

• Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about ✔️

I did this with my As Old as Time review because it was right after my surgery.

• Wrote in a book you were reading ✔️

I got into the habit of annotating in school. Now I mostly use sticky notes, but some more educational books I do annotate directly in.

• Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads ✔️

I do this a lot because I read physical books mostly and always forget to update my Goodreads.
