This month I’m going to do it… I’m showing you my BuJos (yes I have multiples). BuJos or bullet journals are notebooks or journals that you turn into your own planner!

I’m working quickly through this books series and it’s a long one so if you’re along for the ride with me, thank you because I am fully living in J. R. Ward’s universe at this point! This is Book 3 of J. R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood Series: Lover Awakened and damn is it a […]

Hi dreamers! My gorgeous girlfriend, Josie, does a segment on her blog called Josie Pozie’s Fresh Picks. I don’t have that cute of a name yet (leave suggestions in comments and I’ll give you a shout out if I pick yours!) but I’ve been wanting to start doing this monthly for a while. It’s a segment where she chooses […]
Hi dreamers! I’ve seen people do planner posts in all sorts of blog circles and as someone who keeps literally 4 planners I felt like I should do this! On my 4 planners: I keep track of all of my meetings in Google calendar, I also have a wall calendar at work, a witchy calendar […]
Taking place in modern-day New York state, the Black Dagger Bortherhood series is one of the best vampire romances I’ve read in awhile.
I was scrolling through the Goodreads 2019 releases lists and found some really awesome books that I cannot wait to pre-order! I took six books that looked the most interesting to me and put them in a neat little post for you all!
So you may have noticed something new… yeah I’M SELF HOSTED NOW! So this is a brand new site and I’m still moving things over and updating links and social media and everything, but I think I’ve found my permanent home! I’m so excited to tidy and update all these graphics, but I wanted to get a little post out for you today. I wanted to do a New Year tag because I feel like I haven’t done many bookish things this year yet, so I thought this would be a lot of fun!
I’ve always wanted to travel since I was really little. My grandmother traveled quite a bit throughout my childhood and she would bring me back trinkets and tee shirts from around the world. I wanted to see the places in her photographs and experience the wonders in her stories. I can remember sitting in the car at around four-years-old and thinking that I wanted to put my footprint on every inch of the Earth, but my family didn’t have the financial means to travel.
Hi Dreamers! Sorry for the late post (as we are now over a week into 2019). After my trip I got really sick with a double ear infection that turned into a sinus infection. Basically, i got on my connecting flight in Atlanta and my ears didn’t pop once I was back in Madison. I’m […]
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas! When you’re reading this I will be out of the country without WiFi until 2019! I can’t wait to tell you about all of my adventures when I get back! Today I’m doing the End of Year Book Tag which I found on Jenn’s blog Jenniely. (It was originally on Drizzle and Hurricane’s Books.)
Merry Christmas! It’s the last day of blogmas, but don’t worry I have a few more December posts going up. When you’re reading this I will be on vacation until January 3rd so please follow the blog here on Wordpress because I won’t be promoting much on social media from the pool!
Today, since I’ve talked about historical Christmas, my own traditions, and my Yule traditions, I thought I’d take a day to tell you all what this all means to me. Why is Christmas special to me? I’ve been thinking about it a lot this year being in a new place and having new traditions, both from my future in-laws and ones that Josie and I created together. I felt more Christmas spirit this past year than I have in a while and I think that’s because I’ve really taken a moment to ask myself which traditions mean more to me and which can change.
Hi dreamers! Sorry for missing my post yesterday, I needed a mental health day before we left on our trip. In fact! That’s what today’s post is about, this year’s Christmas! So as some of you might know my girlfriend, Josie grew up in Florida before moving up here to Wisconsin for college. (Check her […]
As some of you may know I am pagan and even though I still celebrate Christmas I also celebrate a holiday called Yule. It happens every year on the winter solstice and is a pagan sabbat where we celebrate the shortest day of the year and the end of winter and coming of spring as the days start getting longer again. There are often giant feasts and rituals done on this day, but I’m going to go over some of the basic history and my own traditions.
I’ve talked about some Christmas traditions I’ve learned about this year and briefly about things that are important to me at the holidays, but I think it’s time to tell you all about my Christmas traditions from my childhood.
