Hi all! So, this one is going to be a little bit different today. Remember to like and share this post if you like this kind of content for my lifestyle posts!

I have very sensitive skin and very curly Irish frizzy hair, a lot of times (especially when I worked at a drug store) I would get people who ask me what I recommend for unmanageable hair and skin. So I thought it would be the perfect post for back to school! I’m in no way a beauty blogger and this is all what I’ve found works for me through trial and error. Here we go!

Hair

So. My hair is a beast. It’s frizzy and curly and has a mind of it’s own on top of my dandruff which is not fun. I’m by no means saying I have the most untamable hair in the world, but I’ve been teased for the amount of hair products I keep lying around to get it to behave.

Every other day:

So, I don’t do anything to my hair daily. I only brush it when it’s wet and I never wash it daily because it strips your hair of the good oils. I do wash it at most every other day. I found the L’Oreal brand (literally any of them) to be great on my hair and help define my curls! I use this one when my hair has fresh color and this one for regular use. I keep the shampoo to the roots and the conditioner to the ends.

When I get out of the shower I use Frizz Ease as a leave in conditioner and I add a few drops of tea tree and peppermint essential oils to combat the dandruff. I also put in L’Oreal Air Dry It Mousse and scrunch it. I like it because it leaves my hair feeling like there’s no product in it (aka not crunchy!)

Every Week:

I like doing a mask every week, but have been really bad about keeping up with it. I like the OGX Argon and Moroccan oil one. I also keep up with my dandruff a few times a week. I recently got put on a prescription because stress is wreaking havoc on my body, but for an over the counter option I love the Head and Shoulders Cooling Eucalyptus.

Every Month:

Every month I like to take some apple cider vinegar diluted in water to my hair to also, help combat dandruff. Spray it in before a shower, let lit sit and then rinse it back out while in the shower.

Some other products I love:

For everyday these don’t make sense, but I’ve found when I do need them they are amazing.

The Bed Head Dry Shampoo

The Tresseme Hairspray (big can is also amazing for dance season)

-and the L’Oreal Color Heat Protectant (Which has the added benefit of smelling like watermelon!)

Skin

So my skin routine… I literally have the hardest time sticking to, but it’s funny because it’s the one people ask me about the most. My best answer to you is genetics. But for the sake of raving about some truly awesome products I’ve found here are my skin picks!

Daily:

Morning:

Cleanser (I love the Neutrogena Grapefruit one)

Spot Treatment (I use Clean and Clear, but I like the Neutrogena one, too)

Moisturizer (I use a Neutrogena one with SPF in it in the morning)

Night:

Makeup remover (Again LOVE Neutorgena, but if you don’t have to one with the plastic case, get one and refill it. You’ll thank me when your wipes don’t dry out).

Cleanser

Toner (I use Clean and Clear)

Spot Treatment

Moisturizer (at night I use one for combination skin)

Eye cream (The one from ELF is great and I can’t wait to try the rest of their no skin care line.)

On Tuesdays and Thursdays I switch out my night cleanser for a scrub and on the weekend I usually do a mask. That’s literally it!
